DESCRIPTION:
Our handmade hardwood spirit boards are a beautiful addition to your growing collection of spirit divination tools. Our boards are fully customizable and come with limitless options. After choosing desired dimensions and type of wood you want to use for your board, you are able to customize your board by choosing options for upgraded planchette size, optional colored stain options, added word options, and most importantly - the addition of graphics of your choice!

THE PROCESS:
After communication with seller/artist and all details are ironed out, we begin on your board by first designing the layout and location of graphics, per your exact requests. Next, your choice board is carefully hand-sanded by the artist to bring out the character and personality of the species of wood you chose. Then, the pyrography (wood burning) magic begins and your board starts coming to life with each plume of smoke that rises! After the final burning stroke, and a finishing fine-sanding and cleaning, your new hardwood spirit board is then lovingly fed, polished, and deep-conditioned with special all-natural ingredients, bringing the maximum beauty out of your new divination piece.
COMMUNICATION:
We do ask that if you order your new spirit board from Offbeat by Design, please be attentive with your communication and messages between artist and seller, as our main purpose and goal is to bring to life YOUR VISION. If communications have plateaued or ceased, your piece will go on hold and other customers’ orders will be attended to until you are able to return to regular communication.
The seller/artist will engage in consistent and detailed communication with you, the buyer, to ensure that your board becomes exactly what you want it to be. And for this reason, we have a 100% guarantee of your satisfaction before the board is ever shipped.
RETURNS:
Because of the nature of a personalized spirit board, we do not allow returns or exchanges. These pieces require a lot of invested money, time, and effort from our artist and we are unable to resell if returned. However, if while the board is in the artist’s hands, you notice a detail that needs to be altered, please communicate this immediately and clearly to the seller/artist so all options can be exhausted to keep you, our beloved customer, satisfied with your experience and product. We pride ourselves on having the BEST customer service, while still protecting our own time and livelihood.
ABOVE ALL ELSE, we love what we do here! And it shows in the quality of work we do! Our pieces, on average could take 4-15 days based on current order load and, of course, life. Our family is very close and grounded in quality time. We ask that you allow us up to 2 weeks to finish your product.
